Lived to see 2001, but not 2010: Arthur C. Clarke Dies

Seems like the last of the three great Science-Fiction pioneers has passed.

I’m going to have to rate Childhood’s End as his greatest work: 2001 was brilliant in its own way, but the creepy and forlorn emotions conjured up by Childhood’s End stay with you longer, and give you more to ponder on.
